After performing with various companies in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Daniel graduated high-school and was accepted into Monash University's Performing Arts course in 1998. During his time at Monash he performed lead roles in THE MAN FROM MUKINUPIN, PACIFIC OVERTURES, CHILDREN OF EDEN, CELEBRATION, WORKING and SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE.

Upon completing his course he went on to perform in the very first Magnormos OZMADE MUSICALS showcase and, soon after, A MERRY MUSICALS CHRISTMAS. In 2004 he made his professional debut in WE WILL ROCK YOU, going on to secure the role of Whispering Jack for the Australian and Japanese tours. Over a total of four years he cut his teeth understudying almost every male principal role in the show, and performing the lead role more than 50 times. In 2007, after a season of FLORA THE RED MENACE for Magnormos (playing Harry) Daniel made a move to the U.S. where he took roles on a number of the newest and biggest cruise-ships in the world. Upon returning to Australia, he was glad to return to Magnormos to perform in its concert version of Stephen Sondheim's ANYONE CAN WHISTLE before starring as Denny Doherty in the world premiere of FLOWERCHILDREN.
