Before the role of Ruth in the Magnormos production of MILK AND HONEY (JERRY HERMAN TRIPTYCH) Michelle Fitzmaurice recently played the role of Agatha in the Donmar Warehouse production of GUYS AND DOLLS but her love of Musical Theatre first began at the age of 4 when her mother took her to her first ballet lesson. After training in all facets of dance for the next 15 years she was accepted into the Music Theatre course at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). There she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and was the recipient of the Leslie Anderson Award for Most Promising Talent.

For the past 15 years Michelle has been the co-director, principle & choreographer for Promac Australia which she runs with her Producer husband Chris McKenna. This has led to Michelle performing in many various roles in many touring productions across Australia and most recently in the TENTERFIELD SADDLER. Also during this time Michelle has become a familiar face on numerous television commercials and most recently played the role of Rose Dillon on NEIGHBOURS.

Michelle's proudest production to date has been her 2 beautiful children Maddi and William!
