Nikki is a performer and writer from Adelaide who now calls Melbourne home.

As a performer, Nikki has played the roles of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ in INTO THE WOODS, ‘Rita’ in THE SEEDY ADVENTURES OF JOHHNY STEELE and was featured in SONDHEIM: A REVUE. She also played ‘Bec’ in MOTHER, WIFE & THE COMPLICATED LIFE for Shine Productions, but it’s in writing and Cabaret that she’s most passionate.

She has co-written and performed in Adelaide Fringe/Cabaret Fringe Festival productions of MY SIGNIFICANT OTHER IS A MOBILE PHONE, STICK IT TO THE MAN and I PUT OUT ON THE SECOND DATE, which also played in Sydney. After a London ‘Off-West-End’ production of PERMANENTLY TEMPORARY, she returned to Adelaide with THE ATTACK OF THE 40 FOOT WEDGE, which received the ATG award for the 2008/09 ‘Best Comedy Show’, was nominated in the 2009 Adelaide Fringe Awards for ‘Best Cabaret’, and received a special commendation for ‘Excellence in Songwriting’. She toured the show to Sydney, Melbourne and New York, where she also attended the highly acclaimed International Cabaret Convention at Yale. In 2010 her production CABARET: ALIVE AND KICKING received nominations in the 2010 Adelaide Fringe Awards for both the ‘Inspace Development’ and ‘Best Cabaret’ categories, she created the interview-style CABARET ON THE COUCH and co-wrote songs for her original cabaret VIVA LA FRANGLAISE (Short & Sweet Cabaret 2010 Finalist also performed in Adelaide at The Speigeltent).

Since moving to Melbourne, she has appeared in the Magnormos production of MILK & HONEY at Melbourne Recital Centre and OZMADE MUSICALS 2012, as well as a season in the inaugural SHORT & SWEET CABARET festival. She has revisited the role of Bec in a return season of MOTHER, WIFE & THE COMPLICATED LIFE in Adelaide, and was nominated for the 2012 ATG Curtain Call award for ‘Best Female Performer'.

Having trained at the Elder Conservatorium, graduating with a music degree majoring in theatre & vocal studies from the University of New South Wales, Nikki shares her wealth of experience and knowledge on a daily basis with the students she teaches at Secondary Schools across Melbourne.
