A singer and actress, Samantha’s career has covered all facets of performance including theatre, television, film, live singing, concerts and corporate events.

After completing a Bachelor of Music, Samantha started her professional career with the vocal group VOCAL POINT, touring both nationally and internationally, and subsequently toured for five years with the Walt Disney Company.

Music theatre credits include THE HATPIN (Harriet Piper – Magnormos), THE BOY FROM OZ (Sheena/Judy Garland – The Production Company and Gannon/Fox), CATS (Jellylorum/Griddlebone - Really Useful), SOUTH PACIFIC (Seabiscuit Productions), FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (TML Enterprises), CHESS (Macshows), THE SOUND OF MUSIC (Gordon/Frost), ROMANCE/ROMANCE (Festival Theatre Co). Samantha played the role of Billy’s mother in the original Australian production of BILLY ELLIOT (Working Title/Louise Withers and Assoc.) for both the Sydney and Melbourne seasons.

Film and TV include THE DR BLAKE MYSTERIES (ABC), PINION (short), ON THE CARDS (short), and the lead character in the feature film THE THREE AGES OF SASHA (Rokstarr Films). The soundtrack to the film also features one of Samantha’s music compositions and vocal recordings.

As a vocalist, Samantha has worked with many of the countrys’ finest musicians including the B Sharp Big Band, Daryl McKenzie Orchestra, The Rory Clark Trio, The Craig Schneider Trio, Ch’Boogie and Jazz Me Baby. Samantha was a member of the acclaimed vocal trio, THE FUNKY DIVAS, whos concert, corporate and television appearances are numerous. The girls appeared as the support act to the legendary Barry White in his final Australian concert tour and are Mo Award nominees. She has been resident vocalist on the Pacific Princess cruise liner and guest entertainer on the P&O Pacific Sun. Other performances include, Carols in the Domain, The Lord Mayors Christmas Carols, The Sydney Cabaret Convention, A Day on the Green (Cassegrain Winery), The Mo Awards, Hats Off Equity Fights Aids, and Good Morning Australia. Samantha has just released her debut jazz album ‘The Nearness of You’.
